Important Disclosures

Last updated: 27 August 2026

These disclosures apply to MacroSight research, model outputs, model portfolios, market commentary, historical analysis, dashboards, newsletters and other information made available through the MacroSight platform.

Important: MacroSight provides impersonal investment research and systematic model outputs for informational and educational purposes. MacroSight does not provide personalised investment advice, brokerage, trade execution, custody or investment-management services.

1. Nature of the MacroSight Service

MacroSight is a subscription-based macroeconomic research and investment-intelligence platform. It analyses economic, financial and market information and publishes systematic model outputs describing how the MacroSight framework is positioned across major asset classes.

MacroSight research is standardised rather than tailored to an individual subscriber. Users generally receive the same model outputs, research framework and market commentary applicable to their subscription level.

MacroSight does not assess an individual user's income, assets, liabilities, investment objectives, tax position, liquidity needs, investment horizon or personal risk tolerance when producing its research or model outputs.

2. No Personalised Investment Advice

Nothing made available through MacroSight constitutes personalised investment, financial, legal, accounting or tax advice.

MacroSight does not make recommendations based on the personal circumstances or investment needs of an individual user and does not determine whether any investment, asset allocation or model portfolio is suitable or appropriate for a particular person.

References to portfolio positioning, risk posture, asset-class weights or changes in model exposure describe the positioning of MacroSight's systematic model. They should not be interpreted as instructions for an individual user to buy, sell or hold a particular investment.

3. Model Portfolios and Asset-Class Weights

MacroSight may publish model portfolios, model asset-class weights and changes in model positioning. These are standardised research outputs designed to illustrate how the MacroSight framework expresses its current macroeconomic and market assessment.

Model portfolios are hypothetical or illustrative research constructs. They are not managed accounts and do not represent the portfolio of any individual MacroSight subscriber.

An individual investor's appropriate asset allocation may differ materially from a MacroSight model portfolio because of personal circumstances that are not considered by the MacroSight framework.

4. ETF and Instrument Examples

MacroSight may reference exchange-traded funds, indices or other financial instruments to illustrate how an asset-class exposure may be represented in publicly available markets.

Such references are illustrative examples associated with the research or model portfolio and are not personalised recommendations to purchase, sell or hold those instruments.

MacroSight does not receive authority to execute transactions on behalf of subscribers and does not take custody of subscriber assets.

5. No Brokerage, Execution, Custody or Portfolio Management

MacroSight does not operate as a broker, dealer, exchange, custodian or investment manager through the MacroSight subscription service.

MacroSight does not:

6. Model Updates and Research Changes

MacroSight follows a systematic research process and may periodically update its assessment of the macroeconomic environment, risk posture and model positioning as new information becomes available.

Model update notifications describe changes in MacroSight's research or model outputs. They are not personalised trading alerts and should not be interpreted as instructions requiring an individual user to transact in response.

Model outputs may change materially between periods, and there is no assurance that a particular model view will prove correct or remain in place for any minimum period.

7. Historical, Backtested and Simulated Results

MacroSight may present historical, backtested, simulated or hypothetical results in order to illustrate how a model or research framework might have behaved under historical market conditions.

These results do not represent actual trading in a subscriber account unless expressly stated otherwise. Hypothetical and backtested performance has inherent limitations and may differ materially from results that could have been achieved through actual trading.

Backtested results may benefit from assumptions, modelling decisions, historical data availability and other forms of hindsight that were not available to investors in real time.

Actual investment results may also be affected by transaction costs, taxes, bid-ask spreads, market impact, liquidity, implementation timing, account restrictions, investor behaviour and other factors that may not be fully reflected in historical testing.

Past performance, whether actual or hypothetical, is not a reliable indicator of future results.

8. Performance Metrics

Metrics such as compound annual growth rate, Sharpe ratio, drawdown, volatility or other measures shown by MacroSight should be interpreted in the context in which they are presented.

Where those measures relate to model testing rather than actual investment accounts, they describe hypothetical model behaviour and do not represent returns earned by MacroSight subscribers.

Performance comparisons to indices or other benchmarks may not be directly comparable because model portfolios and benchmarks can differ in risk, composition, diversification, expenses and implementation.

9. Investment Risk

Investing involves risk. The value of financial assets can rise or fall, and investors may lose some or all of the capital invested.

Diversification, systematic allocation, macroeconomic analysis and risk management techniques do not eliminate the possibility of investment losses.

No MacroSight model, research process or portfolio construction framework can guarantee profits, prevent losses or predict future market conditions with certainty.

10. Forward-Looking Statements

MacroSight research may contain expectations, interpretations, scenarios or statements regarding future economic, policy or market conditions.

Such statements are inherently uncertain and are based on information and assumptions available at the time the research is produced. Actual outcomes may differ materially.

MacroSight may revise its views as conditions change and undertakes no obligation to maintain a particular market view or model position.

11. Market and Economic Data

MacroSight may use economic, market and financial information obtained from public sources, third-party data providers or other sources believed to be useful for research purposes.

Such information may be delayed, revised, incomplete, inaccurate or subject to methodological changes after publication.

While reasonable efforts may be made to use reliable information, MacroSight does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness or timeliness of third-party information.

12. Research Methodology and Proprietary Information

MacroSight may describe the economic concepts, asset-class relationships and broad principles underlying its research.

Certain elements of the MacroSight methodology are proprietary and may not be disclosed, including internal rules, thresholds, signal combinations, weighting methodologies, scoring systems, model architecture and implementation logic.

Descriptions of MacroSight's research process should therefore not be interpreted as a complete specification of the methodology used to produce its model outputs.

13. Professional and Enterprise Users

MacroSight may provide expanded research access, research exports, historical model information, team access and research workflow tools to professional or enterprise subscribers.

Such services provide a research input into a professional user's own independent investment process. Unless expressly agreed otherwise in a separate written agreement, MacroSight does not assume responsibility for investment decisions made by an adviser, family office, investment professional, institution or their clients.

14. Independent Decision-Making

Users remain responsible for evaluating MacroSight research and making their own investment decisions.

Before making investment decisions, users should consider their own objectives, financial circumstances, investment horizon, liquidity requirements and tolerance for risk.

Where appropriate, users should consider obtaining advice from a suitably qualified professional who can evaluate their individual circumstances.

15. No Guarantee

MacroSight does not guarantee the accuracy of any model classification, the success of any model portfolio, the achievement of any particular return or the avoidance of investment losses.

No statement on the MacroSight website, dashboard, newsletter, report or other communication should be interpreted as a guarantee of future investment performance.
